Video: Cast of ‘Parenthood’ lip-syncs to “Girl on TV”
There is literally nothing funnier than watching Peter Krause dance, a fact the ‘Parenthood’ writers and producers picked up on early in the series’ run. There have been several instances in which Krause’s character, Adam Braverman, has caught The Fever, and it’s made every scene that much better. And once again Krause has graciously agreed to allow his moves to be caught on film. This time it’s in a music video featuring the cast of the show.
The video is Landon Pigg’s cover of LFO’s 90s hit song, “Girl on TV.” Every ‘Parenthood’ cast member makes an appearance save for Monica Potter and Joy Bryant (perhaps they were busy that day?) Even some of our favorite recurring guest stars, including Jason Ritter, Michael B. Jordan – who does some rapping towards the end – and Rosa Salazar, show up for a bit of lip-syncing. Pigg, a musician dating series star Mae Whitman (Amber) and whose music has been featured on the show, made a cameo appearance at Adam and Crosby’s recording studio, The Luncheonette, earlier this season.
If you’ve got the time – and believe me, you should make the time – watch the video. It’s definitely fun to watch, and it’s nice to have the cast members make us laugh for once, instead of cry.
